I did see the webinar by Ian Chandler and sent an email to Jacob Jans. Learned that I must get details down pat and a correct id name of the speaker. Learned from peoples’ comments too. Thanks. Looking for the extras you are sending. Really appreciate the effort here. I have to care as much and even more for my success. No question- just praise…

As a self-published author of a mafia suspense series, eager to extend my talents to an additional platform, I am excited to view this seminar! Though fans love how I pull them into the story with vivid scenes and relatable situations, I hesitate to launch a career as a freelance writer. I have created content for several websites; mine included – http://www.theitalianrose.com. Is this enough for a portfolio? When pitching, should I add, I self-published one book and am weeks away from publishing its sequel? My goal is to earn a good wage for my work. I love writing! Writing 120k+ word novels takes time and patience. In the meantime, I need to create a revenue stream to support my family. My passion is writing riveting, thought-provoking pieces in the form of articles, blogs, or novels. Did I mention I love to write? Did I? Good, because I love to write! Starting a freelance career seems more laborious than climbing Mt Everest! An odd mental process since self-publishing a novel is truly mountainous. And so begins the cycle of ‘too much thinking.’
I am looking forward to the seminar!
    Ciao!

Old guy with old stories. Maybe so old there new again. I noticed from today’s readings the stories are not much different than when I was in high school about 60 years ago. Yes, I said 60 years. Get over it.

When you believe you’ve got a tale to tell and you’re on the wrong side of 80, you have a lot to pack into a life cycle. You better be quick, get it right, and make it worthwhile if you hope to see an effect.

I have always written but never published. Took some college courses several years ago and was told by writing instructor that I should be publishing. I was too insecure to do anything about it. I’m not now. So what if people tell me “no”. I face that often enough even though I’m not submitting something written. Time to move past the fear before there’s no more time.

I have a lifelong fondness or books, literature, reading, and writing of all possible forms and over the years I have also written myself. I still write and will continue to write and draw inspiration from others in the fields associated with writing. One day I pray to be published.
