I currently have no paid employment, and could use the money. I would like to improve my writing skills, and get my work on environmental conservation known to a wider audience.

Writing is one of the things I like doing most. To get my first publication paid will boost my writing skill to write more to the Readers and the Writers around the globe.

I love to write, and it’ll be absolutely awesome to make a living out of my hobby. That’s why I want to get paid to write.

Seriously? I’ve been working at and enjoying my craft for quite some time. I would now like to see some monetary rewards.

Yes, we do, Ian. However, the question did not ask what our specific goals are. It asked “Why do you want to get your first paid publication?” Some of us have been paid for different types of publication already. So, the question does not actually apply. If it had asked for my specific goals, I would have gladly shared some.

RL, this webinar is generally aimed at people who haven’t yet gotten published, and that’s who we’re posing the question to. Does that make sense?

I’ve written a few short stories but can’t seem to get some interest in my work. I self published 3 Novels and they were well received.

Writing is cathartic. Be happy in your own skin and share your truths with the world. Create
an alternative to the brain numbing junk on antisocial media such as Twitter, Facebook by putting together
profound thoughts as opposed to telling us about what you had for lunch or your new dog.

The amount of thoughts that passes though my mind on a daily basis would be a total waste if i didnt share some to the world.
