I published some short stories and poems and would like to perfect my writing skills. I would also have to have an extra source of income.

Been doing some super introductory copywriting for the past 6-months. Really want to branch away from the content mill I’ve been working with and freelance on my own. I want to learn how to confidently reach out to and close potential clients, draft work agreements, collect payments, and of course, write better.

I am a student in a training institute in Kenya.Life is way too hard for so many students in my country.I can’t sit back, sleep hungry and put on one clothe everyday. It looks embarrassing, but am making up my mind with this to better my living standards and support my parents too.

I would love to write short stories and novels. I am passionate about writing, I write poems too. Writing is a passion, a creative avenue with endless possibilities. You can write because you are happy, you can write to express your sadness. A creative expression for freedom. I would love to explore it as a profession.

I love to write. I would like to be able to make money while doing what I love. I enjoy more of the creative side of writing. I wouldn’t mind becoming a ghost writer. Working on novels or short stories.

Thanks for the opportunity to learn and connect with like-minded people. I want to get paid more to freelance, and more often, to have the freedom to do so as a full time job instead of a hobby!

I want to build a portfolio so that I can build a freelance career. I want a job that I can do from anywhere at any time so that I have the freedom to pursue my theatrical endeavors.

I have always wanted to write professionally and although I wrote at least 2000 words a week in my previous career as a pastor, that was very different than being a freelance writer for a publication. I’m ready to have more freedom and more time to write.

I’ve read a lot of the comments and I, too used to read a great deal,I was a songwriter and lyrics were very important to me AndI’m a poet. Reading has become difficult for me as I have ADD but writing is still a forte of mine though I haven’t r3ally written any poetry for years. Now I reside in a nursing home for the foreseeable future and th last thing I want to do is become depressed and DO NOTHING. And I hav no family so I’m only receiving $30 a month from Social Security! Ilike a challenge. Let’s get to it! – Laurie Nedvin

I have numerous health problems which make working outside of my home difficult. Being able to make myself financially independent through my writing would be such a confidence booster, as well as meeting my financial obligations.

I’ve published a good amount of poems and short stories but would like to publish more. I have an MFA in Creative Writing, which, frankly, taught me nothing about how to market myself for profit as a writer. I’ve finished two books, one was published by a small press for no money, and the other is about to be published by a different non-paying publisher. It would be nice to be paid for my work.

I have been a technical writer for Federal and state contractors seeking government contracts for 15 years. I hope to use that experience toward short technical writing gigs. I have submitted information to some freelance sites but have yet to settle on one or two. My indecision is, in part, due to the overabundance of information regarding the sites which has led to my striking each researched site from my list. Hopefully, this webinar will provide the right shot in the arm to proceed with confidence.
