I work on a farm, but the gas company still won’t take eggs as payment. I’d like to earn an income and get my writing muscles back. I tend toward fiction/fantasy, but have some (antiquated) journalism experience.

Hello! I am a pastor of a local church but have always enjoyed writing. At present I have to have a second job to supplement my income, so would love to be able to support myself with ministry and writing.

I am writing freelance after my retirement. Although I have writing and publishing throughout my working years, I would like to improve. I enjoy writing in multiple genres: Children’s stories, poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction. One goal other than the joy of writing, is to add a small income to my limited retirement funs.

I am a ventilator specialist from Pakistan Lahore. I would like to earn and support myself from freelancing.
Writing gives you a sense of freedom and quenches one’s thirst for “talking” which I love to do. Being a writer from an underdeveloped country it is particularly hard for me to land international clients that would give me a boost in my career. I am working with locals for quite a time.

i can totally relate to that . When I read guidelines for pitching so many websites and articles prefers locals or residents of there own states . I am impressed with the kind of opportunities available for them ( obviously it is totally my perspective) .

I have been writing SEO, blog content, product reviews, and ESL textbooks for the last two years. I have been able to make a sustainable income, however, I want to get paid to write more creative articles about travel, culture, history, and adventure.

I have been living in Peru for three years and I have traveled almost the entire South American continent. I want to be able to somewhat monetize my experiences and knowledge and write about past and current experiences. Even travel somewhere of interest that an editor would like me to write a piece about. I am not sure how to write pitches and how to approach editors about potential stories.

I freelanced for newspapers and magazines to supplement my income while I was a working journalist but have not done so for about 10 years. I need to update my approach.

I am looking forward to getting back into freelance writing and exercising my brain after a lengthy sabbatical. The webinar on Wed should assist me with accomplishing that.

I am a novice writer with a broad level of understanding of human emotional issues, character defects and solutions based on identifying what is honest and true. I write short stories that are both action dramas and stories for children. I never stray too far away from finding emotional freedom and a sense of belonging in my stories. Bringing hope into my readers life is my goal. Sometimes the road to hope can be dark, but as it slithers along, the road opens to the lighted horizon of hope.

I have been writing since I was a teenager but I feel I am not yet good enough to monetize my writing – plus I don’t know how to begin. I am dealing with impostor syndrome and trauma from my childhood experiences. I am afraid to take a bold step towards writing for a living even though people tell me that I am great writer and storyteller.
I want to learn how to begin a profitable writing career because apart from my profession, writing is all I know how to do. And it is what I am most passionate about.
