Dear Writers,

I’m writing to confirm that you are now registered for our free webinar. It will air on Wednesday, December 9th at 3:00 PM ET.

The Webinar Will Air Here

During these difficult times, we’ve decided to step up and help as many people as we can.

Here’s the big news

We are giving away a free month of Writing Launch Membership to new students.

Why? Because we know a lot of people are still in a tough situation, and we want to help. (And we’re in the extremely fortunate position to be able to offer this.)

Here’s what we’re giving you…

Your free month of membership will include instant access to all of our courses, including…

  • The No B.S. Course on Freelance Writing
  • Freelance Writing for Creative Writers
  • Get Your First Publication: A Seven Day Crash Course

You get more than our courses though, you also get:

  • One-on-one mentoring via email, course discussion boards, and more.
  • Our database of 1800 publishers seeking freelance writers
  • Full access to our community of freelance writers
  • Webinars and live group trainings designed to help specific aspects of your writing career

The bottom line: If you want to get paid to write, this is for you.

What course should you start with?

If you want a solid foundation for a successful writing career, then you should start with The No B.S. Course on Freelance Writing. It will give you the tools you need to build a successful career that lasts. This is particularly valuable for those who are brand new to freelance writing.

If you are primarily a creative writer then a great place to start is our brand new course, Freelance Writing for Creative Writers. You’ll learn how to use your creative writing skills to enhance your freelancing prospects, plus you’ll learn important skills (and differences) necessary for freelance writing.

If you have some experience under your belt, then there are several options that may interest you.

  • The Bulletproof Pitching System helps you land more freelancing clients.
  • The Copywriting Crash Course teaches you how to get high-paid copywriting jobs.
  • Break Into Blog Writing will help you get established as a freelance blogger.

How much does all of this cost?

Note – we’re giving you a free month of membership. That means it costs nothing.

Courses like ours regularly sell for upwards of $400 or more. One of our students once “complained” that the training was too similar to her university courses. As you know, university training costs thousands of dollars.

Writing Launch is much more affordable. For those who take advantage of it, the price is extremely low – just $47 per month.

However, for those who take advantage of the free month, the cost is as low as it gets: $0.

Of course, we do hope that some of you will continue as paid members (We do have bills to pay, eventually). But, that is completely up to you.

There’s no way around it: This is an extremely valuable free gift – and I sincerely hope you take full advantage of it.

What is included with membership? Watch this video…

One Important Request

Before you enroll, please commit to actually following through. If you are going to sign up – then please commit to actually doing our training. Even if you only spend ten minutes a day, you can learn a surprising amount. But only if you commit to it.

I am interested in writing poem short stories , but mostly poem .
But I need guidance so that I can improve my skill .
And the last thing when I know myself in what field I will grow up and be successful and happy with all that.

Abhishek – Thank you for your interest, but we don’t cover poetry in any way, as that is outside of the realm of freelance writing. If you want to work as a freelance writer for magazines, websites, blogs, and/or businesses, then we’re here to help.

I am interested in non fiction writing. I’ve taken several writing courses while completing my BS Degree (Human Service), to enhance my skills for report writing. I’ve published a poem and won a writer’s contest many years ago and would love to rekindle the writer within me. I saw this promotional ad and felt this may be an opportunity to purse a long time goal of mines.

As I appreciate the current situation, the power of the internet in personal mobile is decreasing reading novel or roman, and why I think to offer real short stories…

I am very interested in taking your course. I recently applied to write for textbroker.com and was rated as a four star writer right off the bat; however, when I discovered the rate paid at $0.03 to 0.06 cents per word on average, I became less than enthused. I need to learn where to start and how to approach good paying jobs in order to get them. I think your course may be able to provide me with the knowledge and information needed to launch a lucrative freelance writing career for myself so that I no longer have to depend on regular employment that dictates my activities and uses up too much of my valuable time.

I’m a self-published author and a social media marketing-content writing promoter. Basically this means that I help others get their content out to the correct audience for what they write.
I also provide content for a blogger client of mine.
I want to use my creative writing skills as a freelance writer and get paid for it as well as enhance my skills as a promoter of other’s work.
Currently, I’m paying for a paid subscription to LinkedIn. I’d hoped it would help me do more networking. it costs more than your monthly pricing. I believe it’s about time for me to switch horses.
Thank you for the free month. This allows one to figure out if this is for them.
I am a totally blind writer. I only mention this because I use screen reader technology and I want to make ceertain the classes I might take will be accessible for me on my Laptop.
Thanks again. have a nice day.

      Patty –

Most of our courses should be accessible to read if you’re blind. There are a few videos which, unfortunately do not have subtitles, but they are the not bulk of our material. Most of the training material is text based. You also get to have unlimited access to email support and mentorship. The people who take advantage of our email mentoring usually get incredible value out of our service, though we do wish more people took advantage of this!

        Hi.
If I take the course, the one on one email portion would be extremely valuable. I’m always amazed at people who don’t completely immerse themselves in whatever program they subscribe to. It seems to me most times, when I read person’s opinions of some class or other they took that they “got no success from” that when one digs a bit in conversation with them they find the reason wasn’t because the class didn’t measure up but rather because the participant didn’t do their part.
It’s the same with the programs I offer to those who work with me. Those who put their all into it see results. Those who don’t. well…
If I take this class after the free month you can rest assured I’ll put my all into it. I don’t have money to waste and it would be a galactic waste to not participate fully.

            Hi James.
You’re welcome. Another thing I believe in is engagement.
It’s not enough to sign up for something. One must also get to know those they are planning to work with. Even if all someone does is to take the free webinar and first month, the engagement is important.
Learning to engage is going to also be important once one begins freelancing. Since a lot of freelance writers are going to be providing content for blogs, knowing how to properly engage with readers is going to be a must. If you want people to read your work and want more, you must whenever and wherever possible make yourself available to them.

I am new in article writing and want to learn more about it. Basically, I am starting from scratch with the webinar as the first step to perfection.

I am new to the whole idea. But I have written poems both in English and Hindi (my mother tongue)!
I want to grow as a writer because writing is my passion and my rescue. I wish to join the “The No B.S” course to build an actual solid foundation.
And a massive THANK YOU! for keeping it free for a month because in the current times I cannot afford to pay the fees but if this proves helpful I shall definitely invest and learn so that can I earn on my own and spend it on learning further!

Robert, we cover freelance writing, not creative writing, so I’m afraid this webinar won’t be of much use for that. However, if you’re interested in freelance writing, definitely give it a watch!

I’m most interested in Break Into Blog Writing, because I’ve already gotten a few paid assignments for print and online publications and have training in content marketing and blogging, but I’m having trouble marketing my freelance business and finding ongoing business clients for blogging and other content marketing.

I used your free month earlier this year, but I don’t think you had this course yet, and I gave you feedback that I would be interested in this kind of training. Will I be eligible for another free month?

    • Jacob Jans on

Diane – We prefer that students just get one free month. It’s a lot of work for us; we need to pay the bills eventually. If you really don’t have the money, then we may be able to make an exception, but it’s hard for us to provide the support we want to give without earning money too.

Frank – We’re all about non-fiction writing, especially in terms of the types of writing that people tend to actually get paid for. Copywrting, freelance blogging, journalism, etc. If that’s what you’re looking for, we can help. If your focus is specifically creative writing, then we’re not a good fit.
